Not All Popcorn is Good

After seeing this house, and deciding that it was the one for me I had one major thing on my wish list- no popcorn ceilings. It was a huge splurge, but worth every penny. It’s amazing how bright and airy the whole house feels. Here’s a peak before, and a peak at the inside of my house!

To anyone who is thinking about tackling the popcorn please take my word on getting it done pre move in. I can only imagine what it would be like to have drywall/ceiling dust covering everything I own; the plastic only can keep out so much!

Little White House

My first post! It’s finally time I took my first step and started this project. Long story short- girl looks for house, girl finds house, and the rest will be history! I’ve clearly left out the more painful (and stressful) detail of the process, but now I’m on to the fun part at least as long as it goes smoothly. I’m planning on keeping it simple; just food, crafts, and my long list of house projects. Welcome to the Little White House!

Here are two pre yard work and outside shots of the house. The only thing that had been done at this point is planting the large hosta, and sadly the peony bush had lost all it’s flowers (it was a complete surprise plant that I can’t wait to bloom again next year). Those large bushes in the front are next on my hit list so hopefully they will be gone by winter.

Well that’s all for now! Lots more to come!
